We would like to communicate to you the measures that the State Credit Union is taking to ensure the health and safety of our members, employees, and members of our community during the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
We are following all of the recommended employer strategies set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and continue to be proactive in our efforts.
We are stressing preventive action with our staff, which includes working remotely, keeping away from those who are sick, frequent hand washing, and proper respiratory etiquette. We also have increased the cleaning and sanitizing efforts of the credit union.
We are proud to have technology and a culture of flexibility that enables our members to efficiently and effectively conduct their financial business remotely. We encourage you to use the drive thru facility and our online services such as net branch online banking, mobile deposit, online loans and bill pay services which have 24/7 account access. Visit our website for more services options at www.wvpecu.org or call 304-558-0566.
If you have an appointment, or were planning to visit our credit union, please call us instead if you experiencing any of the following:
- You are exhibiting any cold or flu like symptoms
- You have an underlying health condition, or care for someone who does
The above policy will be in effect through March 31, 2020, at which time we will assess the current situation, and determine the appropriate next steps.
While we have made adjustments focused on the containment of COVID-19, we would like to emphasize that we will continue serving members during this challenging time, and will remain open even if state and municipalities temporarily close.
On behalf of the State Credit Union, we want to assure you we take your health and well being very seriously. Please do not hesitate to email or call us with questions or concerns.
For up-to-date information on COVID-19, visit the website of the CDC.
Thank you.
